This is a site designed for the beginner naturalist/ecologist and those interested in British Columbia’s spectacular nature. We are so lucky to be surrounded by so many different plants, animals and landscapes. BC has some of the highest wildlife diversity and abundance in the country but unfortunately most people do not know who and what inhabits our forests, marshes, meadows, deserts and beaches. This site is run by Joey Chisholm. Joey has worked with many species in several positions as a fisheries and wildlife technician across the province and is currently finishing his BSc in Wildlife and Fisheries. The photographs seen here were all taken in British Columbia by Joey or his partner Hannah.
